Girdle Bug
Before Dorsey's famous rubber legs, there was McGinnis' girdle bug. This fly was first used back in Anaconda, Montana back in the 1930's. It works well when larger bugs (i.e. stoneflies, salmon flies, etc.) are present in the stream, particularly on western US rivers. Available in a variety of sizes as well as with or without a beadhead.
